Soccer Youth Diversion Program, Events DC
CSC’s soccer program engages 15 young people, aged 14-18, in training sessions, games and tournaments to deter them from participating in gang activity and violence. We also facilitate two curricula – Youth Engaged in Leadership and Learning (YELL) and Phoenix Gang Awareness and Gang Prevention – to address anger management and mitigate other risk factors.

Soccer Youth Diversion Program, MOLA
This program keeps young males off the streets, providing weekly educational sessions to equip them with an array of life skills. Participants also play team soccer once per week, as well as compete in soccer tournaments.

Out of School Time (OST), Learn 24
OST is a structured and supervised program that provides critical learning opportunities to 22 young people (ages 11 to 16) when school is not in session. We partner with Cardozo High School to offer group mentoring, physical fitness and team-building activities, enhancing participants’ social and emotional health, increasing their physical activity and supporting their academic development.
