Executive Assistant

The Executive Assistant, under the direct supervision of the Executive Director, is responsible for a wide variety of administrative and programmatic functions. These functions include but are not limited to: providing comprehensive support to the Executive Director, Board of Directors, and Executive team. Drafting correspondence and analytical pieces, conducting research, leading staff teams for time-limited projects, organizing meetings and maintaining organizational membership records. The incumbent is also responsible for answering calls to the ED, greeting the public and providing general information on behalf of the ED with regards to services and community resources.

Project Manager
$75-$80K

CSC is looking for a high performing and flexible project manager to plan, manage and execute all the essential steps of business projects and other key initiatives. This person will work closely with senior managers and the Executive team to streamline services, diversify funding, cultivate new partners, and enhance the agency’s overall performance. In general, the project manager will be responsible for creation, organization, execution, and completion of specific projects.

PT Community Navigator 
$18 Per Hour

Community Navigators- primarily responsible for building positive relationships with members of priority communities, facilitating ceasefires and mediations, responding to critical incidents, developing partnerships with community organizations to implement violence intervention strategies.

Housing Coordinator For Emergency Housing $65K-$70K

Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager, the Housing Coordinator, will be responsible to support the team for participant assessment, coordinate to provide relocation services for both short term or medium-term housing for single adults and families in or outside of the district.

Case Manager

The Case Manager, under the direct supervision of the FRSP Program Manager and general supervision of the Family Services Director, is responsible for providing resources and referrals to families, conducting home visits, and advocating for families within the context of their team assignment (e.g. Intake and Assessment Team & Housing Team). The incumbent is responsible for maintaining documentation for their assigned cases and completing agency assessments, case plans, and other forms as necessary. S/he is also responsible for providing outreach services that employ prevention and intervention techniques and conducting collateral visits. Lastly, the incumbent will provide rotating emergency coverage.

Youth Violence Intervention Specialist 35K-40K

Under the direct supervision of the Violence Intervention Manager, the Violence Intervention Specialist primary role is to coordinate critical incident response and mediation as well as ensure that youth in the target area are successfully linked to necessary services including case management.

Re-Entry Program Supervisor 65k-70k

This program addresses on an individual basis, the developmental, relational, and maternal needs of young mothers who are housed by the D.C. Department of Corrections (DOC) and are seeking to reconnect and be reunified with their children. The program facilitates a smooth transition from incarceration back into society, back into the lives of their family, and back into their roles as mother and caregiver. 40 young mothers who are incarcerated at Department of Correction’s facilities in DC will be served. Second Chance, a partner on the project, will assist in identifying participants for the program and address the growing need for supportive counseling for incarcerated women at the Correctional Treatment Facility. The intervention with the children is intended to break the cycle of incarceration and antisocial behavior in children as they develop.

Job Developer

Job Developer, under the general supervision of the Workforce Director shall perform and supply all training necessary to ensure that participants are adequately prepared to enter in the work force. Engage and develop partnerships with employers to secure participants employment.

Mental Health Coordinator (LICSW)
$80-$85k

The Clinical Coordinator under the general supervision of the Executive Director is responsible for providing case management and services to families in the CSC area. The incumbent provides a strengths-based approach to family permanency and stability; facilitates family group conferences/family unity meetings, as needed, to identify and assess family supports. He/she provides counseling services, and appropriate resource and referral. The incumbent maintains records; case plans and appropriate documentation of family contacts and assessments. He/she provides written reports on status of children and families. The incumbent supervises, consults and advises the family support workers and interns to ensure consistent application of policies and to provide information and advice regarding services and referrals. He/she also provides supervision to interns. Lastly, the incumbent will provide rotating emergency coverage.

Safe Passage Supervisor

The purpose of Safe Passage is to reduce incidences of gun violence in Washington DC’s most afflicted neighborhoods. We accomplish this objective through a multi-faceted approach that includes law enforcement, intervention, and prevention strategies.

Program Manager For Emergency Housing (LICSW/LCSW) 95k-105k

In partnership with Building Blocks DC, CSC will provide safe housing, housing assistance, and relocation services for 150 District residents who have been victims of gun violence or are at risk of gun violence. One hundred residents will only receive housing assistance while 50 residents also will receive intensive case management services.  Priority will be given to individuals residing in the 151 blocks identified at most risk for gun related violence by the Bowser Administration.

Director of Program
Monitoring & Evaluator
$85-$90k

The Director of Program Monitoring and Evaluation is a member of the senior management team and provides technical assistance in: general program monitoring and evaluation; CSC and partner staff use of a Web-based management information system; developing indicators for monitoring CSC performance; developing and maintaining the CSC Performance Management Plan and project-level monitoring and evaluation plans; supporting project design; producing annual reports on CSC performance; and supporting CSC to learn from and make decisions based on monitoring and evaluation data.

Organization Development Manager
$95-$105k 

CSC’s Organizational Development Manager is a full-time position, reporting directly to the Executive Director. The position will be supported by an experienced consultant. The Development Manager will lead all aspects of resource development, including: 

  • Develop annual plan and provide staff and committee support for fundraising activities 

  • Manage foundation grant applications and reports 

  • Manage annual event, with CSC’s Office Administrator  

  • Resource development that includes grant seeking; grant writing in response to local, state and federal solicitations; grant monitoring; fundraising; and agency public relations and communications. 

  • Manage individual appeals 

  • Assist program staff with government grant applications and reports and fee-for-service contracts and invoices 

  • Support the company communication efforts

Senior Housing 75K -80K

Provide a variety of office and field activities to manage and monitor a rapid re-housing/transition-in-place program for young adults and families, oversee the management of 2 Housing Coordinators, performs direct client services, and compiles related documentation. Work involves orienting all eligible participants to the program and providing housing search and supportive services to promote participants self-sufficiency, integration into the community, and permanency in housing; performing administrative tasks involved in the review and maintenance of a caseload of program participants. The principal duties are performed both in a general office environment and in the field and community where program participants reside.

CEV CASE MANAGER 45K-55

The For Our Children program will address the needs of nine and 15-year-old children living in the District of Columbia who are directly and indirectly exposed to violence in their homes, at or near their schools, and in their communities. Specifically, the program will address the trauma elicited by exposure to violence, offer services to the children and families to reduce the children’s risk and actual exposure to violence, and offer services to lessen the impact of being exposed to violence. Services will be offered to the children and their parents as a way of supporting the parents in creating a safe and secure home environment in which children can thrive.

Safe Passage workers are posted on Safe Passage routes to support children traveling to and from school during arrival and dismissal bell times. You can identify them by their neon-colored Safe Passage vests. Safe Passage workers are employed by community-based organizations that are situated in the school communities that they serve.

The Senior Accountant, under the general supervision of the Finance Director, is responsible for day to day accounting activities, including payroll, general property accounting, cash receipts, budget controls, account reconciliations, invoices, general ledger review and posting, and financial reports and analysis.

Chief Operating Officer

Under the supervision of the Program Monitor and Evaluator is responsible for guaranteeing compliance with a results-based accountability vision and framework in the planning and implementation of all CSC programmatic activities, ensuring timely and appropriate compliance with contract requirements on a day-to-day basis, and supporting external evaluators and program evaluations as they arise.  From time to time, the coordinator also works to support the Executive Director on special research, fundraising, or capacity building projects as assigned.

Housing Case Manager 60K-65K

Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager, the Case Manager, will be responsible for the 50 participant assessment, provide solution -focused strength-based family centered case management services, triage incidents to determine the immediate action in terms of relocation, coordinate for pre and post Healing Circles, enroll the individual and families to various support services needed to meet the goals and development plan, and maintain all case notes and program data in ClientTrack software.
